A quiet window onto the southern sky

Stellar is a Maldivian stargazing experience, set on the atolls where the ocean horizon stays dark and the air stays still. We bring the sky close, guiding small groups and private parties through an evening of planets, star clusters and the slow drift of the constellations, read the way the islanders have always read them.

Our evenings are built for the people who travel here: couples marking a quiet night together, families curious about the sky over their island, and solo travellers who simply want to look up for a while. No crowds, no rush, just a telescope, a guide, and the patience of the Maldivian night.

Stellar is made by MyRomanEmpire, a small team working across the Maldives to keep the old sky-knowledge of the islands in living memory. We pair each evening with the stories of the Nakaiy calendar and the sidereal compass, so that what you see overhead is also what generations of navigators saw, and sailed by, long before us.

Where light pollution has not yet reached, the sky still belongs to everyone. Our part is simply to open the door to it.
